Momentive’s general adhesives cure at room temperature to form a strong bond to most plastic and metal substrates. They offer short tack-free times that can contribute to productivity in high-volume manufacturing. Potential applications of the product include:
- Insulating adhesive seal and fixing for electrical and electronic parts
- Waterproof sealant for electrical, electronic and communication equipment
Because our adhesives cure upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, the cure speed can be affected by humidity and temperature. The deeper the area in which the product is applied, the longer the cure time will tend to be.
Momentive is also the exclusive global licensee of GE-branded sealants, adhesives and coatings. Click on the links below to see one of our featured products, or to explore all of our general adhesives for Electronics.
