Magnasoft EPS textile softener imparts durable hydrophilicity when a portion of the substrate is cellulosic in nature or contains some other reactive site (e.g.,durable press resin). It also renders hydrophobic fiber more hydrophilic like PES, nylon and PP etc., especially for initial wettability.
Magnasoft EPS textile softener imparts excellent hydrophilicity into fabric and reduces fabric oily soil absorption, especially on 100% synthetic fiber.
Magnasoft EPS textile softener is a surface-active silicone that can be used on a variety of textile treating machines such as foam finishing, pad bath, spray vacuum, slot and kiss roll application, etc.

Magnasoft EPS textile softener is a nonionic water-soluble, polyoxyalkylene modified reactive silicone. It is designed as a hydrophilic softener and lubricant for fiber and fabric, like polyester, nylon, polypropylene, etc. and a wide range of other synthetic and natural fibers; it is also a candidate for application to other substrates where softening, lubrication, and increased wetting and water absorption are desired such as paper, woven substrates binder system, fiber/thread finishing and adhesives.
Magnasoft EPS textile softener possesses excellent softening and lubricating properties while simultaneously enhancing hydrophilic properties of the fabric compared to conventional silicones. Magnasoft EPS textile softener can be used on substrates alone or by direct addition to a durable press resin or latex containing finishing bath. It may also be applied as a topcoat with or without durable press resin or latex finish.
