Niax silicone L-894 is an excellent candidate to consider for the manufacturing of polyurethane slabstock foam as it promotes well-balanced processing to yield fine, regular cells and good density distribution, leading to improved overall foam block physical property distribution. In addition, this silicone stabilizer may be considered for manufacturing processes that use liquid CO₂ as auxiliary blowing agent, typically providing good froth stability and very fine cell structure. Due to the enhanced cell-opening characteristics, Niax silicone L-894 is also highly suitable to meet requirements for bed in a box type mattress.
