LIM™ 6000 Series
FAST CURING, HIGH TEAR STRENGTH
The LIM 6000 series is a family of liquid silicone rubbers for high speed injection molding processes. Products in this series can be molded over a wide range of molding temperatures and offer excellent release from metal molds. The combination of excellent tear strength and very high tensile strength along with stability over a wide range of temperatures, makes the LIM materials good candidates for a variety of applications in the healthcare, infant care, and consumer goods industries. LIM elastomers can also be considered for a variety of molded fluid and drug delivery device components, respiratory masks, sterilization mats, diaphragms, and infant care applications.
The LIM 6000 series is available in hardnesses of 10, 30, 40, 50 and 60 durometer (Shore A).
The LIM 6000 series is a line of fast curing injection moldable liquid silicone rubbers that can provide both high tear resistance and tensile strength.
These products are translucent, but can be easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. The rapid curing speed of the LIM 6000 series of LSRs can enable molding over a wide range of temperatures.
