EFFICIENT FOAM CONTROL FOR CRUDE OIL AND NATURAL GAS TREATMENT
From crude oil applications to natural gas treatments, Silbreak 638 silicone demulsifier and antifoam can effectively control all types of foam in both aqueous and nonaqueous systems. It is an excellent candidate to consider for crude oil applications, such as gas-oil separators, water injections, water-based drilling muds and cementing, and for use in natural gas treatments, such as gas sweetening in amine units or dehydration in glycol units.
Silbreak 638 silicone demulsifier and antifoam can work well with organic demulsifiers, acting as a booster in the demulsification process.
Silbreak 638 silicone demulsifier and antifoam is based on a modified polydimethylsiloxane that combines hydrophilic and oleophilic characteristics with high surface affinity to produce remarkable interfacial activity, resulting in efficient foam control. It can help to clean up water at treatment levels as low as 2%. It can be effective as a demulsifier with both light and medium crudes, and can be combined with polyols to demulsify at lower temperatures.
Silbreak 638 silicone demulsifier and antifoam typically works best to help ensure line stability and quicker availability of antifoam when added continuously.
