STABLE, DISPERSIBLE FOAM CONTROL FOR HIGH TEMPERATURES
SAG 622 antifoam emulsion is a silicone emulsion for controlling foam in high-temperature aqueous systems, such as jet dyeing processes. This durable silicone emulsion also generally offers exceptional foam control in a variety of textile wet processes, including pretreatment, textile print paste, sizing and scouring agents, acrylic latexes, and thickeners for textiles and nonwovens. Simple to use, SAG 622 antifoam emulsion typically disperses well to control both nonionic and anionic aqueous foaming.
SAG 622 antifoam emulsion is an excellent candidate to consider for a wide variety of chemical processes that require foam control. This antifoam emulsion typically offers both quick foam knockdown for immediate results as well as continued antifoam performance, even across a wide range of pH levels and temperatures. SAG 622 antifoam emulsion provides strong stability throughout both emulsion and dilution, with virtually no formation of free surface oil and nondispersed particles.
SAG 622 antifoam emulsion is generally easy to use and typically thoroughly diffuses in foaming media. It can be added prior to the formation of foam and/or to quickly eliminate existing foam.
