SNAPSIL™ Silicone Adhesive Sealants
Our SNAPSIL silicone adhesive sealants can enable electronics and electrical component manufacturers to optimize production speed and adhesion quality without exposing sensitive components to potentially damaging heat-cure processing. These room-temperature, condensation-cure adhesives form a strong bond to most substrates used in electronic components, including metals, polymer resins and glass. Their short, tack-free times can contribute to productivity in high-volume manufacturing.
Available in both one- and two-component formulations, SNAPSIL adhesive sealants are used by manufacturers that require quick tack time, low volatility and primer-less application. SNAPSIL silicone adhesive sealants offer room temperature cure with low odor, as well as excellent adhesion.
The SNAPSIL portfolio includes adhesives in both paste and flowable form, and in clear, white or black colors. They are noncorrosive to most metals. Typical applications include insulating adhesive seals and fixatives for electrical and electronic parts; as a waterproof sealant for electrical, electronic and communication equipment; or as a general adhesive for many metals, plastics and glass.
Specific SNAPSIL grades also offer special features, such as flame retardance and thermal conductivity for bonding in power supplies, adhesion between electronic components and heat sinks, or securing PCBs to substrates.

SNAPSIL™ CRTV5120 is a 1-part, ready to use, silicone rubber sealant recommended for evaluation in applications when electrical semi-conductivity of the sealant is a significant design consideration. On exposure to moisture in the air at room temperature, this adhesive sealant cures to tough, durable, resilient silicone rubber.

TUV3805D-LB silicone features a UV cure formulation that enables faster cure and physical stability with exposure to UV light, followed by a secondary room temperature or thermal cure mechanism that gradually improves adhesion to the substrate.
