TER Chemicals and Momentive Expand Distribution Partnership for Beauty and Personal Care Ingredients in Europe

Hamburg, Germany/ Niskayuna, New York - December 11, 2024 – TER Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG and Momentive Performance Materials group (Momentive), a leading high-performance silicones and specialty solutions company, are pleased to announce a distribution agreement which will expand Momentive’s range of silicone and performance ingredients for the beauty and personal care market in Europe. Starting March 1st, 2025, TER Chemicals will distribute Momentive's Beauty and Personal Care portfolio in Germany and Austria.

Under the terms of the agreement, TER Chemicals will offer Momentive’s extensive range of high-performance additives for skin care, sun care, hair care and color cosmetics. This includes Momentive’s HARMONIE^TM line that combines world-leading technical expertise with naturally derived plant and mineral feedstocks. This winning combination delivers high-performance personal care ingredients with a higher content from biobased renewable feedstocks. The line addresses the industry need for the next generation of beauty products with high-performance and aesthetic properties that fit today’s value-driven consumers.
