TUFEL™ II 94000 Platinum Cure Extrusion Elastomer
The Tufel II 94000 elastomer series is a platinum catalyzed silicone for use in extrusion processes. This series offers fast cure speeds for high production output rates, and high tear strength coupled with a tight surface cure. It is an excellent candidate to consider for medical device and (bio) pharmaceutical applications such as catheters, wound drains, pump tubing and transfer hose; as well as, consumer food and beverage tubing.
The Tufel II 94000 elastomer series is available in Shore A hardnesses of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 durometers.

Products in the Tufel II 94000 elastomer series are part of the Tufel family of platinum curable silicone rubber compounds. Provided in a convenient 99:1 mix ratio of base to catalyst, this series is a low volatile silicone elastomer with a broad processing window and may be used alone or blended with other Tufel elastomers to an intermediate durometer. Potential applications include extruded tubing and profiles for a variety of medical device applications, pump tubing, pharmaceutical transfer hose and tubing, and food and beverage dispensing. For molded articles, The Tufel II 94000 elastomer series is offered with a platinum catalyst optimized for injection and compression molding processes.
